Creative Minds Arts Center 2008 Raise the Roof Campaign
The Creative Minds Arts Center is the building at 3109 Troost Ave. which hosts the Crossroads Infoshop, the 816 Bike Collective and was the former home of the Hip Hop Academy. The CMAC has been a nonprofit, community arts organization which has existed in the building since the summer of 2005.
The Creative Minds Arts Center hasn't been able to live up to its full potential because serious repairs have to be made to the building. Our main goal in 2008 is to fix the roof, which is necessary before any renovations or improvements can be made inside the building. This is why we are asking you to donate to our "Raise the Roof" campaign. While there are many ways that people can help us without donating money, we still have to come up with the $10-20,000 that it will cost to fix the roof correctly. That's why we are asking for financial donations. Other ways people can help are listed below.
We've raised $220 as of May 9, 2008. Thank you!
